I. About us The national cultural centre “Russian Gift” is a unique phenomenon not only for Moscow region but for the whole country. The centre was established under the auspices of Moscow Government in October, 2007. The centre is situated in “Khodinka”, the new district of Moscow, a 10-minute drive from the underground station “Dynamo”. The major line of activity of the centre and our mission is to revive and to preserve original Russian handicrafts through time-honoured folklore traditions, art of Russian hearty cookery and masterpieces of our manufacturers. The ultramodern building was designed and constructed according to the most contemporary architectural standards to give the people full access to Russian national handicrafts. The centre is housed in a contemporary 3-level building. It is composed of approx. 3500 m² that make up • Arts and Crafts museum, • sale exhibitions where masterpieces of more than 300 handicraft manufacturers are displayed, • restaurant for 250 persons, where you can enjoy Russian and international cuisine. The national cultural centre “Russian Gift” possesses all the necessary facilities for receiving guests from Russia and abroad for guided excursions, entertaining programmes and celebrations. “Russian Gift” is a new landmark on the map of Russian sightseeings
