About us

The national cultural centre “Russian Gift” is a unique phenomenon not only for Moscow but for the whole country. The centre was established under the auspices of Moscow Government in October, 2007. The centre is situated in “Khodinka”, the new district of Moscow, a 10-minute drive from the underground station “Dynamo”.

The major line of activity of the centre and our mission is to revive and to preserve original Russian handicrafts through time-honoured folklore traditions, art of Russian hearty cookery and masterpieces of our manufacturers.

The ultramodern building was designed and constructed according to the most contemporary architectural standards to introduce wide audience to the masterpieces of Russian national Arts and Crafts. The National cultural centre “Russian Gift” presents a fascinating collection of more than 20 000 genuine certified articles of Russian handicrafts from all over the country on the total area of 3500 square metres.
The national cultural centre “Russian Gift” includes:

• “Welcome hall” that offers an opportunity to organize meetings with traditional drinks tasting and national folk music
• Arts and Crafts museum that helps visitors to get familiar with centuries-old history of Russian handicrafts
• Russian cuisine restaurant where you can enjoy Russian lunches and dinners with folk and entertaining programmes, participate in Russian tea party, Russian feast, etc.

The national cultural centre “Russian Gift” provides a wide range of services for all types of groups not only from Russia but also abroad (guided excursions, entertaining programmes, celebrations, etc.)
